| Tis the season- I am really looking forward to christmas this year, my oldest returns for the festivities, my youngest is going to get the gift of his dreams, I'm hoping my wife finally gets me the golf club i've been asking for (three years running). My dad and fran are here- my Mother is doing Ok, My mother -in-law is feeling so much better- We have plans to send the holidays with family--- We now own our house-- I swiched positions at work and love it.. Well, after some consideration I've decided to join the masses and get a site on Xanga...
I guess I'll add my first BLOG now
It seems to me that I am a lucky fellow... I've got a wife who I've always loved. I have two sons whom provide me with pride, love, and constant and consistent opportunities to parent...
I have a huge family and we all still get along..
I have parents and a mother-in-law that I am proud to claim as my own..
I recently brought my first home (a fixer upper but it is mine)
A job that I throughly enjoy (even if it will kill me from overwork)...
I have friends I have known for greater than twenty years (Many others have come and gone I sometimes wonder why and what the hell they are doing now)
I am a retired Soldier, so i can keep my hair really short and everyone just assumes its because of the military rather than the truth that I hate to comb it. Being a Soldier really helped set the tone for who I am today and I will always be indebted to those who helped me "cut my teeth" in the Army.
Yes I am a lucky man, I have a wife who I love and loves me, and two sons who I love and love me, thats what really makes me lucky (corny, but true)
